Man you spoiled the whole game man. At least I turned it off so I could play it out for my self. The game actually too easy.

I'm pretty sure the idea is that it IS hell, not purgatory. Y'know, good place style garbage. It seems silly not to understand that if I'm honest when it's a constant looping punishment.

I don't honestly dislike hostile player design within an artistic context, as it's presented here. The issue with THIS game then becomes how sophomoric and mindless some of the art IS. But a game like cruelty squad is a very fun and very terrible time.

HEH! Fun fact, the reason the boss turned into a chimera is because the sprite changes what large monster it is depending on the direction it faces. The dev never set it to direction lock, so you made it face down and change into the chimera sprite. Good video. This game seems like someone's first attempt at making an RPG and kept a lot of things stock from regular RPG maker assets. That's not inherently a bad thing if you can be creative with the assets but in this case it seemed a bit lazy.

Just realized this series means that by the end you will be the person with the most bought steam games...all of them Then again comes the question of new releases that might come in as the series goes on

Yeah, only Grael is the typa guy to acknowledge the existence of Dust. That's the first time I've ever heard another living soul talk about that game. It's too bad it doesn't get more attention, because it is one of my personal favorites as well. The only way I can see it getting more attention is if that sequel ever releases, which is looking less and less likely with each year...

the first game here seems to have a similar problem with random generation that the past game with zombies had ironically, where instead of making the game unique with every playthrough and incentivizing re-playability it was just sloppy and made it more limiting adding _less_ variety which is extremely weird, but also interesting it happened twice in a row

a mobile game from 2003 ive played had more control over the bowling ball's trajectory than this game

15:13 fun fact, there is actually a way to play wii sports in vr! There's an unofficial fork of dolphin called dolphin vr which lets you play any wii or gamecube game in vr, and while I don't remember managing to connect the vr controllers to dolphin you can just use a regular wii remote via bluetooth, I've played stuff like mario kart and metroid prime on it and it works surprisingly well

(16:03) Reminds me of how Magical Drop V has a bunch of achievements related to game modes that were never added. Also, there are some achievements that look like they should be doable, like getting a 15-chain, 20-chain, and 25-chain (my best chain in that game is 31), but only the 10-chain achievement works, as the bigger chain achievements were added later, but apparently not made to be functional. It's a real shame that Golgoth ended up leaving Magical Drop V in such an unfinished state, and eventually the game was delisted from Steam, after having first had its $10 price tag dropped to a mere 99 cents for a period of time. (17:38) Ooh, that looks like 10 Second Ninja coming up!

I’m sad that 10 Minute Tower wasn’t good enough, it looked pretty cool. Maybe with some more polish it can be something. The next game looks cool though!

That bowling game looks like it's be a demo I'd play on Quest 2 for like maybe 5-10 minutes at the most and then never touch again after that lol but it's 12 CAD??! Not sure I'd be willing to pay that much even if it *were* a well-made bowling game tbh ^-^;; Also HI I've been watching this channel a long time but I but I never commented I don't think- and I'm glad I could get the chance to sponsor my own Larry finally! I’m unsurprised about 10 minute tower, puzzles and timers generally don’t go well together

10 Minute Tower has some nice ideas and a good cause behind it, but it's underbaked, I really like the idea of a classic dungeon crawler/Rogue Lite but without any combat, but 10 minutes is a lot of time for such shallow gameplay. Maybe if the timer was shorter and reset after every floor, the pacing would be improved, like the player has to choose if they want to prioritize finding the exit or earn more points and items for completing puzzles. I was almost going to excuse 10 Pin Bowling for being a glorified tech demo and say it has potential if the developer ever decides to finish it, but 12 CAD for a game that you can't even play against a CPU and that somehow has worse controls than Wii Sports Bowling had is just very shameless.
